The Hotrod is, as the name suggests, a hot rod, which appears in the first Grand Theft Auto.
Design[]
The Hotrod is essentially a customised version of the 29 Special, which itself is based on a 1929 Ford Model A. Unlike the 29 Special, the Hotrod is distinguished by its exposed engine.
Performance[]
It is a reasonably fast car, handles well and has acceptable durability.
Locations[]
- Like the 29 Special, the Hotrod spawns in Vice City. Two Hotrods are featured in mission Bent Cop Blues - Phone 11, where the player has to steal one from the car dealership yard, and kill some Rastas after being exposed. The other one (also drivable) must be destroyed along with a couple of more cars in the dealership yard.
